If you aren’t sure what to get your tweens to hand out this February, check out these free printable valentines. You can color your own Valentine cards! Just print them (I print them at Staples to save on ink), cut, and hand out! They are so cute because they can be colored by the recipient.
The inspiration for these struck when I saw this adorable set of digital stamps from Pretty Grafik Designs over on Etsy. My daughter had been back and forth on whether she would hand out valentines this year. She really wanted to, but she found all of the store packaged valentines to be too childish. I know she loves jokes and puns, and loves coloring, so it was the perfect fit.
I added a fun polka dot background and did the text in a new font, so that it could be colored. They were saved as a PDF, and then I sent them off to Staples to be printed. I had them printed on bright white cardstock, and it cost $4 to have 36 printed.
Here’s a peek at all six of the designs – I’m trying to decide which is my favorite. I think I like the one with the beet the best!

There is a page for each design, in case you just want a certain design, and pages at the back with mixed designs. In total, there are 36 valentines in the PDF – 6 of each design. Hope you enjoy them!
If you need another fun idea for your class valentines, check out these “Mustache” Valentine’s from a few years ago – they were a huge hit with my daughters class, and a lot of fun to make (and play with!) This post also has a free printable, so there isn’t much work to do!
