Hi everyone!
I meant to share this with you on Sunday, but I ended up spending the long Canada Day weekend at the cottage, where internet access is limited (which sometimes I am appreciative of, other times, like this, I wish I could just write a quick update!) Anyway, the big news was that I was sharing a super fun post over at Skip To My Lou! She is having a really cool “Fun Crafts for Kids” series, and she asked me to share something with her readers.
Here’s what I came up with: custom coloring books made from gift bags, a spin on the notebooks I created a couple of years ago. My daughter has been asking over and over to make her some more notebooks, and to make her a coloring book for our summer road trips, so I thought, why not combine the two? This time they got to pick out their own gift bags at the store and could pick whatever they wanted. Cecelia, of course, picked an owl, and Stella picked a cute green and polka dot bag. The fronts were a little plain which made them easy to embellish and personalize!
For full instructions and how-to’s, you can head over to Cindy’s blog, Skip To My Lou, and find the full post along with some other really awesome fun things to create with your kids this summer!
And once you do, make sure you come back and check out my post on where you can score the best free printable coloring sheets from legit sources that won’t spam and virus your computer! It’s all here – Doc McStuffins, Sofia, Lalaloopsy, Lego, Ever After… you name it! And after you check out the list, and find your favorite source isn’t mentioned, please leave me a note so I can add it to the list!
I'd love to hear from you! Leave a comment!
