6. American Crafts Thickers
I use alphabet stickers ALL. THE. TIME. I love the thickers brand because they add dimension and come in so many fun colors, styles, and fonts. The fabric covered chipboard ones are my favorite, but I also love the glitter ones. You can purchase any of these products online or at most major craft stores – try sites like Blitsy and ScrapbookSteals for closeout sales as well!
One of my fave Thickers projects? The mini pendant banner cake topper on this cake that I decorated in 10 minutes!
7. Hardware Store Drop Cloths
Have you seen the price of fabric these days? Crazy! That’s why I love how economical it is to use a drop cloth for craft and home decor projects. It may seem rough at first, but give a wash with some fabric softener and it will be perfect for pillows, banners, and more! Find them at any hardware store, or shop online at Home Depot.
Drop cloths were the main supply (along with a previously mentioned crafting favorite, DecoArt multi surface paint) in these party banners, as well as this drop cloth envelope pillow.
8. We R Memory Keepers Bakers Twine
I have professed my love for this product many, many times on this blog, and I’m sure you are tired of hearing about how fabulous it is. So I’ll just leave you the link so you can try it for yourself… and let me know when you write a blog post raving about how much you love it. I’ll stop by and say I told you so 🙂 (You can purchase them here.)
I became very familiar with this twine after spending hours alone with it creating this nail string art with my daughters name.
9. Expressions Vinyl
You can get vinyl in a ton of places, but I love ordering from Expressions Vinyl because they have the largest selection I have ever seen, and they have patterned vinyl – think polka dots, animal print, herringbone, and more. (They also have glitter vinyl, which is to die for!) They also have a ton of great discounts that you can receive via email when you sign up for the newsletter. You can shop Expressions Vinyl’s huge selection of vinyl online and have it shipped right to your door.
My favorite vinyl project? It’s still my colorful playroom grid wall with vinyl wording in the blocks!
10. Wooden or MDF Letters
I am a monogram lover. If it has an S or a D on it, I’m probably buying it. I love using these little (and big) letters to embellish my projects, especially my wreaths. You can find these in any craft store or from specialty stores online, and I love the selection of sizes and fonts that are available. You can find wood letters in many places, including craft stores (like Michaels, which now has online shopping) and sometimes even discount department stores such as Wal-Mart. You can also find them on Etsy, or through specialty stores such as this one.
Grab a wooden monogram now, and you’ll have plenty of time to whip up my favorite project – these twine wrapped monogram ornaments.
