Today I’m over at my friend Jill’s blog, Create Craft Love, sharing a great idea for a DIY Christmas ornament. I think this is actually my favorite of all of the ornaments I’ve ever made, and I’m sure you’ll agree once you see it…
Isn’t it the cutest thing ever? I’m in love, as you can tell. The showstopper piece for this ornament are these adorable mini nativity figurines, which I found in the mini ornament section of Michaels. They are called Merry Minis, and the backs have a little loop, perhaps to attach a hook to?
The other items should be a breeze to find – here’s what you’ll need to make your own snow globe ornament:
- small foam wreath
- snap together clear ornament
- hot glue gun <– here’s a link to mine, it’s cordless and pure magic!
- glue sticks
- faux snow flakes
- chalkboard paper (optional)
- chalk marker (optional)
