Well, another holiday has come and gone, and I enjoyed every minute of my mini-break with my family. We celebrated Easter, had dinner with family, and had a lot of fun. I am so lucky to have such a great family!
I wanted to share a printable with you but I wanted to wait until Easter was over, because I know until now, we have all been overcome with bunny and egg decor 🙂 It would be great for any time of the year, but how cute would it be in a nice frame as a mother’s day printable gift?
I found this quote a while ago and it really inspired me as a mother. Sometimes in the busy life we live these days, it’s easy to get things done all by ourselves. For instance, does this sound familiar – I was in a rush to get supper and my two year old wanted to help prepare the veggies. “No, Mommy needs to hurry and get you supper. Maybe next time.” Did I get supper on the table super quick? You bet your bottom I did! But how far did it get me? How far did it get her? If I always shut her out to get the job done quick, she will never learn these little things that take time to teach her. We will never grow together as a family… and that is what I want more than ever – to be close and strong together as a family, to help each other go far in life.
“If you want to travel fast, go alone. If you want to travel far, go together.”
I created this cute printable for you to download – you can download it in the mint/grey color combo, or the grey/yellow color. I hope it helps you remember that it’s not just about going fast – it’s about going far.
