Cricut Gift Boxes – Style 3
The first gift box features wrap around text and I used the gold foil poster board.
Open design #M47422 and size to six inches. Copy, paste, and line up the two snowflake designs, then select them both to weld together.
Place a rectangle (shapes menu, choose square, and unlock to resize) behind the snowflake design that lines up with the edges of the box. Select both the rectangle layer and the snowflake layer, and hit slice. Delete the excess layers from the slice. (For more info on slicing, check out the more detailed process in the Gift Box 1.)
Add a square in the middle of one box side. Once again, select the snowflake layer and the square, and hit slice.
Delete all of the layers. Add another square into the empty space, and then add another, slightly smaller square on top of that one. Attach the snowflakes and the square layers and change to a score line.
Add a monogram in the middle of the square. (This font is Rockwell Standard.) Change the monogram to a score line. Hit CTRL+A to select all layers and attach all before hitting “Make It”.
